Malaysia expo showcases Iran artworks

Artworks from Iranian artists have been put on display at the 11th edition of the Art Expo Malaysia Plus.

Artworks from artists such as Morteza Gudarzi-Dibaj are currently underway at the Matrade Exhibition and Convention Centre (MECC) in Malaysia’s capital city of Kuala Lumpur.

“Art is a common language among all people,” Gudarzi Dibaj said, adding that organizing such an exhibition can help the two nations expand their cultural relationships.

A total of 2,000 artworks, including paintings, sculptures, installation and photography, are on display at the event.

Artists from over 20 countries, including Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Croatia, Cuba, Ecuador, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Mexico, and Mongolia, are participating in the expo.

The 11th edition of the Art Expo Malaysia Plus, which is a major international art fair in Southeast Asia, will showcase the Iranian artwork until Sunday, October 15.
